Planned Giving and Major Gifts

It takes careful planning to insure that your family and loved ones are financially secure and have access to the opportunities you value while also making gifts to the organizations that are closest to your heart.

Planned Giving is the act of making a gift of charity for any amount, for any purpose, which results from a planning process considered by a donor in light of estate and financial plans. Planned Giving allows you to look to the future and consider your own personal benefit and the benefit of Laradon.

You are familiar with the tax benefits of making cash gifts to Laradon, but there are also other methods of giving such as:

A Will for example, allows you, not the government, to decide who will receive the property you have accumulated over your lifetime.

Through careful planning you can find the method for making a gift which best fits your situation and maximize the lasting impact of your gift to Laradon. Your gift can be made in memory of your loved ones. It is a meaningful way to memorialize someone special to you.

Endowments may be given directly to Laradon and designated for a specific program, general operating support or they may be held and managed by the Laradon Foundation.
