Teacher Assistant

In this position you will assist and work cooperatively with the Special Education Teacher to ensure that the educational, pre-vocational and daily living program needs of each student are met. You will coordinate with the teacher to track behavioral and academic goals, plan and implement appropriate developmental curriculum and provide a positive role model for all students.

Minimum Requirements(Bold): Bachelor’s degree with one or more years experience working with children with developmental disabilities and/or emotional/behavioral disorders and be at least 21 years of age. Valid driving license, good driving record, and reliable transportation, preferred. Must be able to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds. Mobility - bending, crawling, sitting, and stooping.
