On-Call Staff

Laradon is looking for an ON-CALL DIRECT CARE STAFF to supervise and facilitate the development and training of adults with developmental disabilities in various activities in order to maximize the program participants' functional skills and community integration through the provision of self-care training, physical and emotional maturation, socialization, communication, behavioral, leisure, and pre-vocational skills. Position is variable among several different programs. Individual will work in different programs when the specific need arises, may vary on a daily basis. Requirements include High School diploma or GED, two years of direct experience with individuals with developmental disabilities, mobility - bending, crawling, sitting, and stooping, stamina to be on feet and active for full work day, must be able to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds, valid driving license and good driving record.
