Executive Director
Laradon Hall is a solid $11 million non-profit agency that serves children and adults with developmental disabilities and other special needs. With 190 staff and nearly 600 enrollments, Laradon is the largest service provider of its kind in Denver and one of the most diverse in Colorado.
Laradon is seeking highly qualified candidates to fill the position of Executive Director which will be available after July 15, 2008. The position is responsible and accountable for the day-to-day administration and operations of Laradon, including its fiscal management, human resources, and any and all other business affairs. Reports to the Laradon Board and interfaces with the Board of the supporting foundation.
Requirements include a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in related field (Master’s degree preferred) and at least five years comparable management and supervisory experience. Experience working in a union environment. Knowledge of management and supervision, budgeting, financial management, project management, labor and employment law, fundraising, marketing, and government and community relations. Knowledge of the Colorado developmental disabilities and education systems, a plus. Strong leadership skills required.
